A warm, cozy tavern housed in an historic century-old building, The Tavern Uptown offers a unique neighborhood venue for events. English-style garden, ivy-draped walls and charming koi pond accent the corners of our open or enclosed patio spaces, providing a charming area for an intimate wedding or reception. Adjacent to the patio is Sammy's Game Room featuring shuffleboard, foosball and video games.  The private 17th Street Pool Room is popular for birthdays, corporate groups and game watches.  Free parking for Tavern guests is available behind the building.

Pearl Street Patio

Tavern Uptown’s patio and English-style garden are available for private events, weddings and receptions. In the winter, a portion of the patio is enclosed and heated for year-round use.

Sammy's Game Room

Sammy's Game Room offers cozy lounge furniture and has a private bar adjoining the patio bar. Games include shuffleboard, foosball, corn hole toss, video and board games.

Koi Pond

Ivy-draped walls and a charming koi pond accent this beautiful corner of the patio.

City Park Garden

Set in an English-style garden with a fountain and Colorado Sandstone patio, this semi-private area is the perfect gathering place.

17th Street Pool Room

This space offers a pool table surrounded by railing seating and lounge with cozy furniture and a fireplace. There are three HDTVs in this room to accommodate a DVD slideshow or movie. Music can be played from personal iPods.

Fireside Lounge

Our cozy fireplace lounge is the perfect spot for a small, intimate gathering for drinks and hors d'oeuvres or sporting events.

Wedding & Receptions

During the summer months, the Tavern Uptown patio offers a beautiful setting for weddings and receptions. The ceremony takes place in the English-style garden with ivy-draped walls by the main patio and Koi Pond, where the reception takes place afterwards. Up to 130 people can be seated for the wedding and reception, and up to 200 for reception only.

Food & Beverage Service

Our menu features traditional and unique American tavern fare. An extensive selection of eclectic appetizers, entrees and desserts may be served as platters, buffets, receptions or plated meals. Audio & Video Services

• No expense has been spared in bringing guests their favorite sporting events. Multiple HDTVs are located throughout the bar, patio, dining room and lounge. DVD slideshow and movie capabilities are available for private party use, and ad screens to post company logo or welcome message.
• For music the Tavern is happy to accommodate DJ’s, live bands, and music from personal iPods in selected areas.
• Complimentary high-speed WiFi
• Wireless Microphone $35, LCD Projector $75, Projector Screen $35, Wireless presentation controller $25, HD video camera with tripod (1080i) $200 and $50 per hour for operator, AV tech required to set up before an event or be onsite $50 per hour.
• In-house DJ $750 for up to five hours. DJ plays your requests and a variety of music genres with video.
• Custom Vinyl Banners 3'H x 4'W $60. Additional custom sizes available. 3' feet maximum height. Additional width $12 per foot.

Event Planning Services

A professional Event Coordinator is available to provide you all your event service needs, such as, linens, specialty cakes, florist services, table displays, and coordinating a live band or DJ with our in-house talent buyer.

Minimum number of guests required for an online private event request is 25 people. For parties with fewer guests, please call the appropriate location.

*Please note: We require the finalized banquet menu two weeks prior to the event date. In order to provide you the best service possible, please contact us by phone at 303.226.1555 if your event is taking place within two weeks.
